How long will my cake/cupcakes/brownies stay fresh for?

Everything I make is fresh to order. I reccomend eating the bakes the same or following day that they are delivered/collected. However, an uncut cake will stay fresh for a couple of days. Once the cake has been cut it will keep for another 1 - 2 days if stored in an airtight container. Ensure you store the cake in a cool place, but not in the fridge unless the weather is particularly wam. I don't reccomend freezing any cakes.

Brownies and blondies will last for up to 7-10 days when stored in an airtight container. These also freeze very well. Simply wrap in a couple layers of foil or place them in an airtight container and into the freezer as soon as possible. They can be frozen for up to 3 months.

How do I amend or cancel my order?

If you need to change the date or details of your order  please let me know as far in advance as possible. If you need to cancel your order entirely, please bear in mind that I may have had to turn away other customers to fulfil your booking for a particular date. Therefore, refunds/changes are not always possible. For a full run-down on our T&Cs please see the Terms & Conditions page.

Where do you deliver to and can I collect my order instead?

I offer a hand delivery service to Lewes charged at £2.50, please note this is Lewes town only and does not include any surrounding villages in Lewes district. If you would prefer to collect your order, please let me know and this can be arranged. Depending on colection time and day, this will either be from my workshop in Swanborough or home address in Lewes.

My postal boxes can be delivered anywhere in the UK. I currently use a next day tracked courier service for the most of the UK. Although this is a next day service, this is not guaranteed, please allow up to three working days for your order to arrive. I do not send items via courier to the Scottish highlands, NI and some parts of Wales, these parcels shall be sent via Royal mail 1st class service which aims to deliver next day, but please allow 5-7 working days. When ordering I ask for guide dates only, this means I cannot guarantee that your parcel will arrive on that exact date requested.

How much notice do i need to give to place an order?

For cakes I generally need 3 weeks notice. Please do try and give me as much notice as possible to ensure I have the date free and to give me time to source any ingredients or fullfil any special requirments you may have such as toppers etc. However, if you do find yourself needing a cake last minute, please don't hesitate to contact me as I sometimes have cancellations or last minute space available. Please note, custom designs and additional decorations may not be possible at short notice.

Where is my order made?

Every order is baked in my 5* hygeine rated kitchen unit in Swanborough. Although collections may sometimes be from my home in Lewes, your order is never made or packaged here, simply bought home safely in order for you to collect it at a convienient time.
